Also most other editors need to support a much wider range of browsers, resulting in tons of code I don't really need. Rewriting it to change that would require almost as much effort and wouldn't be as fun :)

Dabblet is open source, if you’re so fixated on using ACE or CodeMirror, feel free to fork it and do it yourself, because I’m not going to anytime soon.

Indeed. I just was posting that there "for the record". The goal of the discussion in Twitter was
to know your opinion; if I really wanted that feature I would have already forked Dabblet. ;)

I respect your view and I perfectly understand that you don't want to change the core just because
someone else wants. I do the same in my repositories.
