On which operating system are you on?
In macOS and Windows docker run under a VM, so --net=host in such cases means the VM's network.
Try to only expose the UI for start and see what happens:
docker run --rm -p 3030:3030 landoop/fast-data-dev
Sometimes on macOS instead of localhost or 127.0.0.1 you may find the services at 192.168.99.100.
