CliFM needs a decent logo about clifm HOT 5 CLOSED

just an idea, I'm not a graphist : a prompt in a tree.

I was thinking in an animal, but I really like the idea of a tree: a leafless tree, showing only its branches rooted into a prompt (perhaps a shebang or something like that). However, this is a logo and we need to see it to value it. Since it seems really simple, maybe I myself could try to draw a sketch or something.

Well, I had no success trying to draw @chimay idea. But I started plating around with GIMP and got this:

Description:

1. You can draw each CliFM letter on that symbol
2. It's simple: Just a background color (e68a09) and five straight lines (white)
3. It resembles the good old CRT monitors. This is what I've done to get the effect:
   a) Pixelation
   b) RGB noise
   c) A scanlines effect (via a transparent layer and a pattern)

I don't even know how to make this into an actual icon. But it's at least a beginning.
