We will think about it, maybe we can add a new option to make string filters case sensitive or not 😃

That would be a good improvement. I'm using Postgres on a site, which makes string-filtering case sensitive, which is not what most user expect, I guess.

I'm working on it : https://github.com/greg0ire/LexikFormFilterBundle/tree/case_insensitivity I need to test that at work tomorrow on a real database. What do you think ?
