@ftassi you're right about the \Lexik\Bundle\FormFilterBundle\Event\Listener\PrepareListener, it instantiate a QueryInterface object according to the query builder given as second parameter to Lexik\Bundle\FormFilterBundle\Filter\FilterBuilderUpdaterInterface::addFilterConditions().
Then all conditions are applied by the Lexik\Bundle\FormFilterBundle\Event\Subscriber\DoctrineSubscriber. This subscriber listen all events for each field type and handle both Doctrine ORM and DBAL. The listeners will get an instance of Lexik\Bundle\FormFilterBundle\Event\ApplyFilterEvent in which you can get :

$event->getQueryBuilder(); // the querly builder on which you will apply the conditions
$event->getFilterQuery();  // the query object we instanciate in PrepareListener::onFilterBuilderPrepare()
$event->getValues();       // the value of the condition
$event->getField();        // field name on which we apply the condition

So we need to add a new query class for PHPCR-ODM and instantiate it in the PrepareListener::onFilterBuilderPrepare() in case of we get a PHPCR-ODM query builder.
And then we will need to create subcriber that listen the same events as DoctrineSubscriber and implements all methods that add conditions.
