Actually, terminal::Terminal
could be made into a trait that has both a real implementation that uses stdout, and another implementation that doesn’t do anything. This has the downside of removing crossterm’s escape sequence creation from the benchmarks, which we would want to include so we can better estimate how much a change would speed things up.
