Hmm...that looks weird! The test sometimes fails if the Mosquitto test server is temporarily down, but the framing tests should never fail. It's possible your cmocka install is messed up (I say this because the cmocka output for the test names is weird) but it could be an MQTT problem.
To troubleshoot, try running one of the examples (e.g. simple_publisher
). If that segfaults then there is probably a problem with your compilation. I believe TEST__framing__connect
usually runs after TEST__framing__fixed_header
so maybe something is wrong with sockets. You could try disabling all the tests that open connections and see if that works. You could also try running the bio_publisher
or openssl_publisher
since they don't use the BSD sockets directly.
I wouldn't expect any problems compiling on Fedora, so hopefully we can get this sorted out for you.
