@jrwdunham Thanks so much for the feedback, it was very helpful! Below are some comments to go along with my updates
7.2
- It has been a long time since I wrote these so I think the
xfor the hex values was probably just left over from an example I borrowed from. We don't actually require it.
7.3
- I split up the value and the continuation on the next line to make it more clear
- using
VCHARto hopefully make it more clear it can be any valid character for that encoding except for newlines
