Feel free to send me a temp admin account via mail, so I can take a look. Will be quicker :-)
Concerning the EME membership: on your production site, go to the wordpress pages, search the EME special events page, open that and check that no EME membership/group requirements are entered at the bottom (or where gutenberg shows those :-) )

Maybe this will help you:
Test version: https://test.zfk.ksh.uniklinik-freiburg.de/konsi/veranstaltungen/ (working, also with the latest update now..)
Live version: https://zfk.ksh.uniklinik-freiburg.de/lernplattform/veranstaltungen (not working)
-> Click on an event. In the Testversion you'll get to the event description and in the live version you'll get the login form...

I don't understand this: your test version runs the latest version and it is ok, your live version too and there it is not ok? Then I'm guessing it is a difference between the 2 events, no?
EME only redirects to the login page if:
- it is a private event (and no custom redirect url is defined in the settings)
- the page is protected by an EME membership

The event is public – and shouldnt be protected by an EME Membership – where do i see the settings to the EME Membership?
I don’t see a diffenence between the 2 events – it happened suddenly after updating but only in the live version.. I don’t get it, because it doesn’t make sense..

However it was another plugin that did a redirect after the update!
