That's right. Docker runs in a VM on OSX and the --net=host method doesn't work (although there are some reports of making it work by using the IP address of the VM docker is running in, rather than the IP of the OSX host). Alternatively, you can try to map individual ports as described in the container readme.

Turns out the osX native Docker app does NOT currently support --net=host.
This is quite a mess of indirect connections and non-discovery.
Open to any suggestions on how to get multiple Plex instances in an internal network.
