I've been able to replicate this bug with Liquibase v4.25.0 and 4.26.0, so I can confirm it's still an issue.
It is not replicable with H2 nor with PostgreSQL, so it's an Oracle-specific problem, though it might happen with other databases as well.
The problem itself is with the automatic update of the checksum to the newest version. The second scenario (clearing the checksums and re-running liquibase update
) generates the correct checksum value, but it's taken as incorrect for following runs.
I'll leave this ticket open for the community to fix. Our development team will be available to provide guidance to whoever submits a PR.
In the meantime, a workaround would be to use the validChecksum tag.
