Thanks. I think we should make it use built-in. That will work for 1D numpy array. It will fail for ND arrays, so we might want to add npmin
and npmax
.

This is now addressed in the latest code, including the 0.9.12 release. There is no builtin support for min()
on ND arrays (well, it works for 1D arrays), but one can add user symbols at initialization time to handle that case as desired.
