You mean storing actual instances? That's not easy to implement, at least without increasing the code size quite a bit. Just make sure your classes can be read from JSON and you'll overcome this.

Storing actual instances is almost certainly out-of-scope for localForage. I would think in the context of an MVC app, the model ID would be stored, and its state would be recreated from that.
What are the use cases here? I don't see this as being a goal.

I'm not clear on this but it sounds like you want localForage to handle object state freeze/restore, which is out-of-scope. localForage just aims to store data.
If I'm mistaken, feel free to re-open the issue to clarify.
