Hello @hemachandran-kalaimani and thanks for your report!
We have now added support for GZIP and BZIP2 S3 files with S3 Select. Could you pull localstack/localstack-pro:latest and give it a try? Please note that you will need to specify the compression type in the InputSerialization parameter to GZIP. Thank you!
