Unfortunately, I haven't gotten the CodeGeneration.Roslyn project to work on Linux (and I use Linux as my daily driver, so it has been frustrating for me also). So, you should consider it not supported. I am also officially dropping Windows support for it on the next major release (v5), which I'm building up to now. For those that are currently using it and it still works, they can use the previously released versions (as it has no external dependencies outside of the Roslyn project).
Its replacement will be a new powerful meta-programming system and source-generators, probably landing within 3 months or so. You can read about the 2024 roadmap here.
