Partially done, but it's currently just picking the variables in order of the fewest remaining values from when they were computed at the very beginning (it's not updating these fewest remaining values as we go).

I thought about this more and tried an implementation, but it seems too harsh (see adding-forward-checking branch). I may have done something wrong, but on that branch it currently can't find the solutions at all. (obviously I didn't check it in :) )
