Is the one used on the Steam deck, right? Do you have an example of usage, maybe to use in the terminal?

I think the icon would be the normal Steam icon. I did research the license of that icon and came up with nothing.
The SteamOS 3 repo itself says it is dead. There is no icon in it anyhow.
And Steam is definitively not "Free and OpenSource" i.e. not in the scope defined by Lukas, I guess.
SteamOS itself is, but it just adds the text "Steam OS" to the Steam company logo.
So in total I was a bit reluctant to do anything here.
As for the SVG, I can create one very easy, if we need it. I also created the Gimp SVG ;-D

This repo itself says in the readme:
SteamOS version 3 'holo', as used on the Steam Deck, is a separate
codebase based on Arch Linux packages and does not use this apt
repository.

So in total I would say the icon request is rather "Please add the Steam (company) logo", and I would not do that.
Edit: Typo

Yep, it's exactly the same as the company logo which definitively make it fall in non-free category, maybe it fits better on Material design font? Or to use simpleicons?

Or use Nerd Fonts, it has 3 variants:
