Error? about shutdowntimerclassic HOT 2 CLOSED

Hi and thanks for reporting this. There seems to be an error with reading the settings file. If the error is persistent a quick reset of the application should help.

1. Open Start and search for "Shutdown Timer Classic"
2. Click "App Settings" in the detail view on the right of your search results. (Alternatively right-click the search result and hit "App Settings")
3. Scroll down and click the "Reset" button

This will reinstall the app and earse all app data. Any problems with the settings should get fixed as the settings file also gets wiped.

May I ask you some questions so I can try to find the bug?

1. Was this your first time using the Shutdown Timer?
2. Have you done anything in the application that made it crash or did it crash as soon as the application started?
3. Have you gone into the settings and if so, do you remember what you changed?
4. Have you previously installed the app through GitHub releases before you downloaded it from the Microsoft Store?
5. Could you check if there are any files in "%APPDATA%\Shutdown Timer Classic"?
