logstash::client recipe convinces rhel that it is ubuntu about chef-logstash HOT 5 CLOSED

When I comment out these dependencies

The issue goes away

Quite a lot of cookbooks get loaded as dependencies

afaict, it is the ant cookbook and perhaps its nasty jpackage dependency

EDIT: nope, it is not caused by ant, very strange

by latest tests, removing 'php' from the dependencies stops the issue from happening, however the mysql cookbook has many dependencies of its own

removing the "php" dependency makes this go away reliably. I suspect this is a bug w/in Chef and not the php cookbook itself or its dependencies.

this was actually caused by an old version of the apache cookbook
