@evandomme <https://github.com/evandomme> The A99M2 is in the list of supported cameras <https://github.com/ma1co/OpenMemories-Framework/blob/master/docs/Cameras.md>. This is because we are fairly sure that there is an Android subsystem. However, it is one of the few cameras that are currently not supported. The camera uses Android only for the WIFI remote feature, PlayMemories apps are not supported out of the box. App installation over USB is also blocked, this is why you cannot install any apps. I think it should be possible to unlock USB app installation through a custom firmware update. This requires some development and some testing, however. I would need someone with an A99M2 who is ready to run a few tests and scripts on it (figuring out the model id, dumping the firmware, ...).
