To set a status bar color only, make your own theme, like this:

To set the textsize, is only possible, if you get the view element. But i will add a method to do that. Good idea.

You need the release 1.0.6 to change the text size. Add this code to your dimens.xml, to change the size of all sections and labels.

<dimen name="sectionIconHeight">30dp</dimen>
<dimen name="sectionIconWidth">30dp</dimen>
<dimen name="sectionSize">20sp</dimen>
<dimen name="sectionNotificationSize">20sp</dimen>

Or use the new get-method from an section or label, to set a different or same size for every section/label
section.getText().setTextSize(...);
section.getIcon().getLayoutParams().height = 20; // an example
label.getText().setTextSize(...);from advancedmaterialdrawer.
