No current mention of where to find DKIM public key for 3rd party DNS about mailinabox HOT 3 CLOSED

I would have also found it useful if this was documents. I use a separate self-hosted DNS server for my domain, I don't want to have to host my DNS on the same server as my mailinabox.

There are other DNS records that should be set too, so looking at the complete zone file might be better:

cat /etc/nsd/zones/domain_name.txt

Or querying the box over DNS:

dig +noall +answer @ipaddr txt {,mail._domainkey.,_adsp._domainkey.,_dmarc.}domain_name

(Even if the mail-in-a-box at ipaddr isn't the actual nameserver for domain_name, it still serves it anyway if you have an email address configured for that domain.)

The new control panel now lists all DNS information that would be needed to host DNS off of the box.
