I think this is a really good idea.

We have another directive that we prefixed with mf- as a sort of
abbreviation of Manifest. Do you both like mwd- better?

I think a 2-letter abbreviation is pushing it, I think 'mwd' would be far less likely to conflict.

Sounds good to me. The other directive is not in use yet, so we can rename
it without much trouble and be consistent.

It's consistent with your other module, 2 characters like every other angular module, and I haven't seen it used anywhere else.
