Yes. I'm planing to support writing everything into a standalone web page without dependencies. I used to do this with consolify
, but it needs to be adjusted to work properly with mochify. Support for testling would also be nice.
If you want to debug things, you can use --debug
to debug PhantomJS with a web UI, but I agree that the browser tools (especially Chrome) are a lot better.

Thanks good to know.

--debug doesn't seem to work it gives me a link which doesn't run anything
or error.

Interesting. It works great for me on a Mac. Which OS are you on? What is the URL it shows?
from mochify.js.
Debian jessie
node_modules/.bin/mochify --port 9001 --cover --debug
Please open http://localhost:9000/webkit/inspector/inspector.html?page=2
I've not set the port but its broken.

Can you try without --cover
? Maybe that does not go well together.

Is it on an open source project that I can clone to reproduce?
from mochify.js.
Yes here is the branch you want
https://github.com/motherjones/smokejs/tree/RC1/strange_sinon
npm install
sudo npm install -g grunt-cli
grunt test
Should work using 0.10.26 of node and 1.9.7 of phantomjs
tests are fialing but its a good start.
