Yes. I'm planing to support writing everything into a standalone web page without dependencies. I used to do this with consolify, but it needs to be adjusted to work properly with mochify. Support for testling would also be nice.

If you want to debug things, you can use --debug to debug PhantomJS with a web UI, but I agree that the browser tools (especially Chrome) are a lot better.

Interesting. It works great for me on a Mac. Which OS are you on? What is the URL it shows?

Debian jessie

node_modules/.bin/mochify --port 9001 --cover --debug

Please open http://localhost:9000/webkit/inspector/inspector.html?page=2
I've not set the port but its broken.

Can you try without --cover? Maybe that does not go well together.

Is it on an open source project that I can clone to reproduce?

from mochify.js.

glassresistor avatar glassresistor commented on May 14, 2024

Yes here is the branch you want
https://github.com/motherjones/smokejs/tree/RC1/strange_sinon
npm install
sudo npm install -g grunt-cli
grunt test

Should work using 0.10.26 of node and 1.9.7 of phantomjs
tests are fialing but its a good start.
