Neeraj81 avatar Neeraj81 commented on July 1, 2024

bro just upload it into ur cloned repo (not a fork, you can import repo into your account and upload the submission folder(inside solved files))

note:

  1. go to home of you GitHub account, at top right corner there u'll see a "+" sign(create new), click that
  2. click on import repo
3.it will be copied to your account, now add the submission folder (inside add ans files)

all the best all.

from mapup-data-assessment-f.

Neeraj81 avatar Neeraj81 commented on July 1, 2024

every one is forking assessment repo and committing changes,

  1. The owner needs to accept your commit (which he will never do, as this is an assessment). If he does, it changes the original repo.
  2. In the form, they clearly mentioned to make the clone private, so you don't need to fork it (as forked files never get private-restricted).
  3. Instead, create a clone (import into your repo) or download it into your local machine. After solving the files, upload them into your imported/copied repo or a new repo(if you downloaded), and then add your submission to the submission folder. Make the repo private and add contributors mentioned in the form.
