Unfortunately, Flutter is a big framework, unlike a library. For you to work on this project, you have to know the basics of Flutter.

You are more than welcome to look into the resources that are mentioned in the README file. They will help you start with Flutter.

Also, frontend labeling doesn't mean frontend as in web development exactly. frontend and backend labels are for the flutter developers to differentiate between building widgets issues and working on implementing features.

For now, I have to unassign you to give a chance for flutter developers to work on this issue. You can keep working on the issue if you want, and if it is still open, you can create a PR when you are done.

I am sorry about the confusion.

Okay. Anyway, thank you for the quick response : )

Greetings! To begin with, I'd like to say that I have a task at my university to contribute and solve an issue in any open source project, so, that's how I ran into your repository. Unfortunately, I don't have that much experience to immediately contribute to your project, thus I have some time to figure out how to make this issue done. If you don't mind, could you assign this task to me? Thank you in advance !

Hey @alexeevrevan!

Of course! Make sure you read the README file.

Also, if you'd like, you can pair up with someone to help you. You can join our discord and find someone willing to pair up in the #pair-programming channel.

Btw, do you know flutter?

Thank you so much! I've already joined the discord channel.
Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with Flutter, anyways I would give it a try and find out what Flutter is. I'm a newbie software engineer, and my current stack is based on knowledge of HTML/CSS and Python for a bit of backend, so that's the main reason I've been searching for frontend issues.

Hey @markhallak
Can I take this up ?

from anxietygo.

markhallak avatar markhallak commented on June 5, 2024

Sure!

I saw your comment on issue #37 and you can take only one issue at a time. Once you're done with this issue, you will take the other one if it is still available.

As mentioned in the Dart's Official Documentation snake_case is to be used and camelCase has to be avoided to name files. So I am going ahead with snake case file naming.

Hey @markhallak
Check my description on my PR #42

Hey @chandansgowda

Thanks for contributing!

Please next time, use the naming convention that is being used throughout the project. Also, it is mentioned explicitly to name files using the UpperCamelCase.
