Arrow keys are not mapped about jsbeeb HOT 4 CLOSED

I'm not quite sure what you mean by "only up and down is mapped to characters". I'm able to use all four arrow keys on my Mac. I tested by:

• Booting jsbeeb up https://bbc.godbolt.org/
• Pressing all four cursor keys one at a time
• Observing the cursor moves around on the screen

Is there a way you're testing I can try and reproduce?

Oh I see, then the error must be caused by something else.
I tried https://bbc.godbolt.org/?autoboot&disc=https://www.bbcelite.com/versions/flicker_free_elite/elite-disc-flicker-free-sth.ssd
and can only steer the ship up/down using S and X, there are no keys for left/right, also the arrows are not mapped. I thought it is the emulator's fault, but maybe just Elite game ROM doesn't work with this emulator or it needs a key combination I am not aware of to move left/right.

Yes, the keys for elite are a: fire, s&x up/down, ,. left right, slash is faster, space is slower...and many many others too
