Hi!
Your ffmpeg
output looks like what I would normally get so it seems to be doing the encoding correctly. Where are you running the bot from? I experienced some audio cutting issues while I was testing the bot on my own PC. Once I moved the bot over to the server that runs my Mumble server, the audio cutting problems pretty much vanished.
If you have the ability to run the bot on the same machine as the Mumble server (if you're not already doing so) I would try that first.
This project is still definitely in its early stages, so it is also possible that it is an issue with the bot itself.

Thanks Matthieu,
Yes it is running on the server currently. It could be a load issue, but I think it is unlikely. I’ll try and run it from another machine and compare.
Thanks for getting back to me and letting me know. I won’t waste all day on it trying to mess with codecs now.
Much appreciated,
Sean O’Leary

Okay, sounds good. Let me know how it goes.
If it doesn't fix the issue I'll have to look into it later. I just started classes in university again, so it might be a little while until I get a fix out. So if you figure out what it is I'm open to pull requests. :)

@o-leary:
How did it go? Has the audio cutting issue "fixed" itself?
from mumbledj.
No, but using Ubuntu 12.04 meant a number of setup headaches. It is entirely possible a clean install of the latest LTS and a straight forward setup might do the trick. I probably won't get onto it for a week or so.
Thanks for taking the time :)

No worries, was just curious. And yeah, I agree that the setup process is a bit annoying. I will be writing up a guide fairly soon on how I figured out how to set it up correctly.

Closing due to inactivity. Let me know if there are still issues!
