Destroys .gif animations about adaptive-images HOT 3 CLOSED

Ah, this is likely a PHP limitation - I don't think PHP's GD-lib (which is what's doing the re-size) can handle GIF animations, so it seems to grab the first frame and spit out a resized version of that. You may want to exclude GIFs from the AI behaviour. To do that:

Open the .htaccess file and change this line:

RewriteRule .(?:jpe?g|gif|png)$ adaptive-images.php

to

RewriteRule .(?:jpe?g|png)$ adaptive-images.php

No worries, sorry it's not as foolproof as I'd like.

There shouldn't be any issues with PNG transparency, that was fixed a while back - it used to generate black where the transparent parts should be - what are you seeing that's wrong?
