on ios you can do some cool stuff with animations but I havent seen
anything that works on any other browser

I'm currently using Zepto and investigating https://github.com/dgileadi/zepto-page-transitions. Somehow, the Page Transitions plugin is bypassing FastClick altogether. Either way, thanks a bunch Max.
