Conemu running mintty, full screen not filling screen. about conemu HOT 8 CLOSED

Most probably, that is mintty bug/feature/limitation.

1. Try to run "notepad.exe". Does it maximizes correctly?
2. Does mintty maximizes normally running outside of ConEmu?
3. Can mintty be resizes by mouse (no maximizing) to the style required to fill ConEmu surface?

There is a shortcut to mintty that allows for real full screen within ConEmu in both windowed and full screen mode. There's also a command line flag, but this doesn't seem to actually apply when set in the startup.

For anyone that finds this via searching like I did this is most definitely due to mintty not updating its window size when the ConEmu window resizes. You can see this for yourself if you do the following:

• Open a new mintty tab
• Resize ConEmu
• Right click on the tab and choose Child system menu... -> Options...
• Go to the Window tree element
• The Columns and rows will not be correct for the current ConEmu window size. You can prove this if you click the Current size button which should update the window to its actual current size.
• Generate some output in the mintty window. It should wrap at the correct points now.

I have no idea which project or where a change would have to take place for this to be fixed though.

@bstoots I never observed such problems with mintty. Even with configs attached above. So, for further examination I need more info: versions, configs, screenshots, more is better.
