Now, I tried the incoming
branch of emscripten and it worked very well.
So I hope the issue will be fixed in the master branch soon.

Hey @normanrz, that's awesome! Can you give any insight into how the version you compiled (with the new version of em) behaves, compared to the version in this repo? E.g. performance, code-size, etc. ? I'm guessing that things got better in every way :) (but just guessing)

Primarily, I wanted support for hex color values. Because of a bug in sscanf (which happens to be fixed on incoming aswell) that didn't work.
Other than that I didn't notice any substantial difference. I haven't done any benchmarking, though. And the code size is just a few k less. I pushed the compiled version to my fork. Feel free to check it out.
Btw did you know that gzip shrinks the library to just 307k? I thought that was quite impressive.
