I feel your pain here. This looks like a pretty good method of getting around this though. Have you run into any problems when testing it out? I might e tempted to add this to the docs, as I'm sure others have come across this same problem.

Yeah, I guess for static sites and demos it's good enough (never had any issues), but on bigger projects it might be easier to just use Node.js and try to configure this stuff server-side.
