cannot load plugins undefined symbol :log_level about janus-gateway HOT 10 CLOSED

I noticed the warnings too on Ubuntu (while they don't seem to appear on my Fedora) but they shouldn't cause that. Apparently the voicemail plugin is missing the include to debug.h, so try adding one yourself and let me know if that works:

#include "../debug.h"

That shouldn't fix the error, janus_voicemail.c has already a #include plugin.h that contains the ../debug.h

It's weird that only the voicemail plugin is not being loaded, though... this doesn't seem to be happening on any of the distributions I'm testing the gateway on. @warrenjmcdonald have you tried issuing a make clean and do a new compile? who knows, something may have been in an ambiguous state.

I'll also have to look into the debug warnings, although I don't think they're causing the issue there.

I have the same issue when running janus. The error occurs with all of the plugins. I'm running Ubuntu 14.04.

Possibly due to a change in debian/ubuntu. Debian wheezy runs fine but upgrading to jessie makes the plugins fails to load.

I guess you're right, since the Ubuntu 12.04 we have on one of the servers here doesn't exhibit the same behaviour. I'm installing a 14.04 right now on a VM to investigate what's causing it to fail.

Just committed a fix. This works in the Ubuntu 14.04 VM I used for testing, can you verify it works for you as well?

I confirm this is fixed in both Debian jessie and Ubuntu 14.04.
