At least make solar panel a slab! It looks kinda ugly.
And in real life, solar panels don't store ANY energy at ALL. It is unrealistic.

Sorry, the energy storage is what I like about my generators -- all innovation starts out as unrealistic :)
I will make them slab-shaped when I have the knowledge of how to do so without sparing block IDs.

Hey. Would you mind touching up on Mekanism's site on calclavia.com? I'd like a ICBM- based layout, with a link pointing to the changelog on the download page and a sidebar-based manual with a section for up liming features. As of pre3 I'm going to be using your FTP build system.

After thinking about it, you can keep your generator storage. It's not a big deal anyway. Though I do have some new ideas I hope you can think about. You see, your grinder and stuff aren't really special. They've been over done so many times. I have an idea that you can do for your mod later on and that is to make the grinder be multiblock and built in parts. It'll be cooler that way and more unique.
Also, you have Buildcraft and IC2 compatibility in your mod right? I would suggest.. you to nerf those things. As in, make the conversion ratio not as good as UE so people will prefer to use UE rather than those two mods. I know it sounds selfish, but it's a good tactic to make people use more UE mods rather than the old mods.

Don't nerf too much, try to achieve balance or the mod will be either over or under power.

Checked out your energy cubes. They are great. Some issues to point out:
The GUI bar for the energy stored doesn't render
It turns weird purple when it is not charged
Every break of that block in creative gives me an extra block. Inventory spamming lol.
You still haven't got rid of energy tablets
T1 Cube should be green, T2 should be red, T3 should be blue. Matches UE standards.
As for other things that haven't changed:
Change tools to use steel
Nuclear Dissembler?!
Have the upgrades items implement IModifier so it will be compatible with other UE mods
Something to add in the future: Wind mills.
