@garthvh How to make it broadcast?

It already does by default. https://meshtastic.org/docs/configuration/radio/device/#node-info-broadcast-seconds
Additionally, any time a device receives a packet from an unknown device it'll send its nodeinfo along with a request for the new devices node info.

@garthvh this is specifically for determining the best place to place a Meshtastic Node. How would Meshtastic know that I've moved the node and want to now see who it can see? I don't understand how it would automatically know this, especially if it has already learned some nodes from previous attempts and may no longer be able to see them at a new location.

This wouldn't be the best method for determining optimal node placement. Use the panorama tool from http://www.heywhatsthat.com to help see what coverage would be at different locations. However, if you want to see what nodes are seen at the new location you should reset the nodedb after placing it at the new location, and then as new devices are heard in that location they'll be added to the node list.

@rcarteraz is clearing the NodeDB the best way to produce a new broadcast to test a new location?

No need to do anything, it happens automatically
