Collections with markdown, permalinks and include about collections HOT 4 CLOSED

So before I updated the use() calls above, I was getting an empty object, but I had the wrong collection key in my use( collections(…)) call.

Now I'm using

…
      .use( collections({
        careers: {
          sortBy: 'date',
          reverse: true
        }
      }))
…

and the same frontmatter on the collection items as above.

Now when I echo {{collections}} or try and iterate through collections.careers in my template I get:

events.js:72
        throw er; // Unhandled 'error' event
              ^
RangeError: Maximum call stack size exceeded

I've tried changing the order of markdown/include/collections to no avail.
I'm probably missing something simple... any insight would be much appreciated.

Removing template from the frontmatter got rid of the call stack error... but still {% for item in collections.careers %} seems to indicate that careers is empty.

Should have been:

{% for career in collections.careers %}
  {{career.propertyName}}
{% endfor %}
