Do all your md files have the 'date' property? From the source it looks like the default is to sort on that.

@keerts Well I don't want my pages to be ordered by date. Can I order them by menuOrder
? Which is defined in each of the pages. If yes, how?
BTW, *.(md|toffee)
does match all files but no folders or their contents right?

make sure your minimatch pattern works... I got stuck cause I had my files in a subdirectory and '.md' wasn't working but '/*.md' worked.

@chrishamant Thanks for the pointer. I do only want to have the files on the current folder so only '*' works fine for me. :)

@keerts @ianstormtaylor So I solved this problem. The problem was somewhere in my pattern but I dunno what. Changing to the method where you define the collection on the file's metadata itself, and not by pattern resolved the problem.
May want to look into that?
