I am willing to look at this this weekend actually. Never worked on a fix/bug/enhancement on a library before though :-(
It looks really simple though and thinking the 'good first issue' label might be right up my alley. Can you assign this to me? Or did you already knock it out..

Feel free to do it. It’s completely minor issue, the linked line just needs
to be removed. There aren’t any problems related to this line being present
though.

This was done too early, it is needed in [email protected]. Will probably be fixed in 0.8.0.
