You need to make sure you reset the frontned/.env file every time you change the configs and deploy the website. As part of deploying the website, we write some values to this file by doing a find and replace, meaning that once the values are set they cannot be changed unless that file is reset to its original state. Try resetting that file, and then rerunning the Initializer with your new configs and it should work.
