Hi @christianknoepfle, it looks like this is a bug in the python SDK. When loaded, the description from the model.json file should exist on the Manifest "explanation" property. In python, it looks like the explanation is not properly set on load. If you cloned this repo, you can make the change locally to fix your issue at this location: https://github.com/microsoft/CDM/blob/master/objectModel/Python/cdm/persistence/modeljson/manifest_persistence.py
You can see this exists in other languages like in the C# code: https://github.com/microsoft/CDM/blob/0c0703cb31102e4e8c2a9dfe9d4b4d65cd049246/objectModel/CSharp/Microsoft.CommonDataModel.ObjectModel/Persistence/ModelJson/ManifestPersistence.cs#L62C13-L62C52
