Since the MSCommerce-module is not built for app-authentication, some clever guy out there has reverse-engineered the functionality with just that in mind. See https://blog.vdwegen.app/posts/disable-selfservice-licenses/
Fun fact: All cmdlets (functions) in MSCommerce support the -Token parameter so it seems they're almost begging for us to provide tokens outselves. Enter MSCLoudLoginAssistant. With an accesstoken generated by 'New-M365DSCConnection -Workload 'MSCommerce' -InboundParameters $PSBoundParameters and stored in $Global:MSCloudLoginConnectionProfile.MSCommerce.AccessTokens, you can use everything the MSCommerce-module has to offer - except Connect-MSCommerce which is only needed if you don't provide an accesstoken.
I'm not sure I really 'got it' but I've attempted a PR to add MSCommerce to workloads supported by MSCloudLoginAssistant
Have a look and let me know how far off I am ;-)
