We can probably keep it simple and not render attachments that start with "_". You'll use the attachments in the form of _bddData_name. Open to a PR.

I'm not sure that all third-party reporters will follow this convention... Maybe introduce hidden flag for attachment to make it more explicit?

Another idea is to use hidden annotation instead of attachment. E.g.:

testInfo.annotations.push({
   type: '_bddData_name',
   description: JSON.strinigfy(data)
});

I'd like this even more, because it attaches data in a synchronous way (following the discussion in #30175).
