Calendar page giving out "negative argument" error about middleman-blog HOT 8 CLOSED

Could you share the full error message and stack trace? Maybe a repo that exhibits the problem?

That's all i get. No stacktrace, no other message on the server command line, just this on the browser:

Seems to me like a slim integration issue. I get a "Option :layout is not supported by Slim::Engine" message when trying to load the page. Trying to use erb now to see if that's the problem..

Yep, that's the problem. It doesn't work with slim.

That error is caused by an old version of slim. Try using a newer version.

Still getting these errors with slim 1.3.4 (supposedly the latest version):

Option :layout is not supported by Slim::Engine
Option :locals is not supported by Slim::Engine

Though this issue in particular does go away (i.e. i can now see the calendar with slim).

Is there any downside to those warnings above?

Those are just warnings, you can ignore them. We're waiting on a dependency (padrino-helpers) to update to the new Slim API.
