No, when I added fractional powers it was so much added code that I decided to make further changes and release it as a new library decimal.js.

is there a way to use fractional power (not just 0.5) with this library?
for example: new BigNumber(10).toPower(0.0025) ?

As the documentation makes clear, pow only supports integers at present, although that will change shortly.
Use sqrt if you want to raise a value to the power 0.5.
