I'm into it! Can you provide a use case and suggest an interface for it?

One example is trying to SSH into a server that might not yet be available and run a command. I don't want all the error messages I would otherwise see for failed connections. I imagine this would just be an extra option --last-output or something like that which would only show output from the last time the command was run before loop exits.
