Did you follow the troubleshooting steps outlined in the Readme?

from misp-docker.

sai-secops avatar sai-secops commented on September 17, 2024

I did follow the steps:

  1. Docker version - v25.0.3, build 4debf41
  2. Docker compose version - v2.24.6
  3. Either docker-compose or docker compose is working. Both show the same output.
  4. tried running "docker system prune --volumes" and cloning the repo into another dir and run the same steps. No luck.

Am I missing any step here @ostefano? Thanks for the help!

Are you using a Mac? Try changing the I/O subsystem (check docker desktop settings).

This is on a ec2 centos machine.
CentOS Linux release 7.9.2009 (Core).

This is honestly quite baffling. Did you try updating docker anyway using these steps: https://docs.docker.com/engine/install/centos/ ?

Yes @ostefano. I will try to see if this comes up in ubuntu..
Not sure what is happening in centos though!

Are you sure you are running it from a directory where the docker user has enough permissions?

Are using sudo by any chance? You should not.

Yes. I checked and it is on the latest version. (Followed the same link)

Can you try installing it from the docker repos anyway (regardless of the version)?

But first see my Qs re permissions / user

AH, I found the issue - I did not run steps mentioned in https://docs.docker.com/engine/install/linux-postinstall/
(To manage Docker as non-root user)

Thank you @ostefano for pointing that it should not be run with sudo. Was able to launch the UI now!
