Enhancement: Reopen last todo file(s) on program start about todotxtmac HOT 2 CLOSED

Hi, @arkolbus . Thanks for your suggestion. The default behavior of TodoTxtMac is to reopen whatever todo.txt files were open when you last quit the app. I didn't add a user preference to save the file's path because it doesn't seem necessary. Please see the discussion under Issue #11 for more information.

If the app is not reopening your files, or keeping a list of them in the "File > Open Recent" menu, then you should check your "Recent items" setting under System Preferences > General.

Thanks, @mjdescy. I had mine set to "Close windows when quitting an application". I've had that setting for so long I forgot about it. I turned that off and that fixed the issue for this program, but time will tell if the change will create a larger annoyance with other programs. It seems strange that it's a general setting for all applications, it would make more sense to be per-application.
