Add git history to this repo from mlcommons@ck about cm4mlops HOT 7 OPEN

Hi @gfursin this branch is having the history and is in sync with the main branch now. But only admins can change/rename the default branch. For now please use it for any development work.

I actually completed most of our pending tasks and fixes in the dev repo and don't plan to do major updates now.

No @gfursin it is in sync with the main branch now. But once the default branch is changed we can sync it with the dev branch.

Hi @arjunsuresh . The new main and dev branches seem to work fine but the total size of the new repo is still very large. Do you think we can reduce it to ~10MB, please?

Hi @gfursin Without history the size was 12 M. Now, the size is 40M.

I have created a branch named "clean-history" with rewritten history for cm-mlops.

Hi @gfursin I created a cleaner repository with git history here: https://github.com/arjunsuresh/cm4mlops . I think the easiest option is to just move this repository to mlcommons. Its size is 20M with ~8M of git history.
