多元线性回归
多元线性回归,即试图通过建立两个或多个特征与一个反馈之间的线性关系来观察数据。实现多元线性回归的步骤与简单线性回归几乎相同。

假设
一个成功的回归分析,应该可以验证以下假设:
1、 线性。自变量与因变量之间的关系应该是线性的。
2、 同方差性(常量方差/随机误差项有相同的方差
3、 多元常态。多元回归假设残差为正态分布
4、 缺乏多重共线性。这里假设数据间没有或极少有多重共线性。多重共线性是指特征(自变量)之间并不相互独立。

虚拟变量
在多元回归中使用分类数据是将非数字型的数据纳入回归模型的一种有效方法。
分类数据是指表示类型的数据,这种数据的值固定且无序,例如性别(男/女)
在一个回归模型中,这些值用虚拟变量表示。分类数据包含诸如0或1 的数值,代表分类数值的存在或不存在。

注意
过多变量可能使我们的模型降低准确度,尤其是当模型包含了与结果无关的变量,或者包含了会对其他变量造成影响的变量。这里有多重原则适当变量的方法:
1、前向选择
2、后退梯度
3、双向比较

虚拟变量陷阱
虚拟变量陷阱是两个或多个变量高度相关的情景。
简单来说,就是可以从某些变量当中预测出另一个变量。很明显,这里产生了一个重复类别。举例来说,如果减去男性类别,那么它可以通过女性类别来定义。(女性类别中,0代表男性,1代表女性)
解决虚拟变量陷阱的方法是减去一个类别变量。 如果有m种类别,则使用m-1个虚拟变量,而省去的值可以看做是参考值
